Ink Wave Design is an independent graphic design studio in Encinitas, California, rooted in people, place, and purpose. Growing up in Encinitas, I learned early that where we come from shapes how we see the world—and the stories we choose to tell. The coast, the community, and the creative culture of Southern California gave me a strong sense of place, while my background in social work taught me to look just as closely at people.

Long before I became a designer, I learned how to listen, read between the lines, and understand what makes people connect. That experience still shapes the way I create. I approach branding and visual design with equal parts curiosity and strategy—looking for what matters, stripping away what doesn’t, and pushing an idea somewhere unexpected.

I’m drawn to ideas with something beneath the surface—a point of view, a sense of place, a story worth telling. I want to understand what makes an idea distinctive, what makes people care, and find the clearest, most compelling way to give it a visual voice.
